  • %3: CACertIdentifier (win:UnicodeString)

Example events

A certificate in the chain for CA certificate 0 for ADCS Labor Issuing CA 2 has expired.  A required certificate is not within its validity period when verifying against the current system clock or the timestamp in the signed file. 0x800b0101 (-2146762495 CERT_E_EXPIRED).

Description

This event occurs, among other things, when one of the certificate authority certificates has expired.

However, it can also occur if the certificate is not yet valid, for example when installing a new certification authority certificate, if, for example, the time zone of the parent certification authority differs and the issued certification authority certificate is therefore not yet valid.
